Raiders hire shop to sell seats

The Oakland Raiders, back in the Bay area after moving the pro football franchise out of Los Angeles but short on fans willing to commit to expensive personal seat licenses, hired Goldberg Moser O'Neill, San Francisco, for a 10-day media blitz that will include TV, radio, newspapers and direct mail. The Raiders needed to sell 45,000 of these licenses, but 4,000 remain unsold for the season, which starts Sept. 2.
