Rayovac Corp., Madison, Wis., said it will break a $30 million advertising and promotional campaign Oct. 5. Rayovac ad spokesman Michael Jordan appears in four new TV spots plus print ads and point-of-purchase material. In the campaign, Mr. Jordan addresses the "confusing" battery claims that are appearing in the marketplace, Rayovac said. Y&R Advertising, Chicago, handles. The TV schedule includes ABC, NBC, WTBS, A&E, Discovery Channel, USA Network, TNT, Nickelodeon, VH1, Lifetime and Weather Channel.
