[new york] Reuters last week launched its Advertising & Media Briefing online service, covering news from the advertising, entertainment and media industries.

Delivered to desktop PCs, it carries news from Reuters' own reporters as well as news supplied by Advertising Age, Campaign, Inside Media and Variety. Users also can access a database containing articles from publications covering the media and advertising fields going back for more than a year, as well as Reuters' business and general news database.

The service is marketed in the U.S. by Reuters NewMedia, a subsidiary of U.K.-based Reuters Holdings.
