Taco Bell, Irvine, Calif., will unveil a $25 million national TV ad campaignfeaturing the hyped matchup between NBA stars Shaquille O'Neal and HakeemOlajuwon on ABC Saturday night. Handled by Bozell Worldwide, the "One-On-One"30-second spot will introduce Taco Bell's new Double Decker, which combines ahard and soft taco shell. Shell texture is at the heart of the "conflict"between the basketball players in this spot, directed by Spike Lee. A secondcommercial set to debut next week is similar, but Spike Lee himself will stepout from behind the camera to intervene. For the record, Shaq likes them crunchyand Hakeem likes them soft.
