San francisco-based SmartAge today unveils SmartOpps, a program that provides a distribution channel for affiliate networks.

SmartAge supplies marketing services to small and midsize business Web sites, including a free banner exchange network called SmartClicks.

SmartOpps expands on those services by offering small sites a way to enhance their product offerings through brand-name sites. Commerce partners include,, software site Cyberian Outpost, e-commerce software site iCat and domain registry company Network Solutions.

SmartOpps rewards its members for every retailer logo they post on their sites with 250 credits for banners on the SmartClicks Network. Sites also receive a commission from sales they refer to partner retailers.

"Large Internet brands are trying to reach out to small sites," said Anna Zornosa, president of SmartAge. "We can be critical at putting the two groups together."

Sites using SmartOpps include a small office site called Cord Pack. Ms. Zornosa estimates SmartAge has nearly 100,000 members.
