SunScream II, the solar-power race car developed by Macon, Ga.-based Mercer University's School of Engineering, seeks sponsors to power its entry in Sunrayce '95, the 1,150-mile solar-power car race taking place June 20 to 29. Sponsors get logo placement on the vehicle, product placement and online exposure at prices ranging between $500 and $5,000. Contact: (800) 837-2911. The U.S. Department of Energy and General Motors Corp. are primary sponsors of the 65-team intercollegiate Sunrayce '95 competition, coordinated by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden, Colo. Amateur All-Star Baseball Inc., Chicago, has sponsorship opportunities available at various levels for its third season of national all-star and world series youth baseball league tournaments. Sponsorships, ranging from $50,000 to $300,000, include product promotion and in-game presence plus access to AABI's consumer marketing database. The events culminate in the Totino's National Amateur All-Star Baseball Tournament to be held June 20 to 24 in Pine Bluff, Ark., televised on ESPN. Motivational Media Assemblies, Burbank, Calif., wants three major sponsors to back "Joyride," its 40-minute multimedia educational entertainment program touring more than 3,000 high schools nationwide starting this fall. "Real Stories of the Highway Patrol," Agoura Hills, Calif., seeks a title sponsor for its "Trooper of the Year" national promotional event starting this fall and tied to the nationally syndicated TV strip's 1995-96 broadcast season. The 1995 Brach's Holiday Parade, Chicago, seeks sponsors at levels ranging from $3,500 to $50,000 for its Thanksgiving Day parade on Nov. 25, reaching an estimated 500,000 spectators and viewers of national cable and local TV.
