minivans bow in print
Chrysler Corp. is going ahead with its print and direct marketing introduction for its redesigned minivans, but will postpone TV advertising for several weeks while the company focuses on clearing out growing inventories of car models. Print begins with an eight-page insert for the Chrysler Town & Country model running tomorrow in USA Today. Similar inserts will launch the campaigns for the Dodge Caravan on May 22 and Plymouth Voyager on May 26. Bozell, Southfield, Mich., is handling the Chrysler and Plymouth brands, while BBDO is doing Dodge.
