Subaru tries credit card tactic

Subaru of America, Cherry Hill, N.J., is launching a Subaru MasterCard via MBNA America Bank. Cardholders will earn points totaling 5% of net retail purchases. Each point will equal a dollar discount toward the purchase or lease of a new Subaru to a maximum of 700 points. Temerlin McClain, Irving, Texas, handles advertising.
