Subaru goes all-wheel

Subaru of America will sell only all-wheel-drive vehicles after front-wheel-drive cars currently in dealer stock are sold out, said George Muller, the company's president. That's in line with the marketing strategy adopted a year ago and highlighted by the ad theme, "The beauty of all-wheel drive," created by Temerlin McClain, Dallas. Mr. Muller told the Automotive Press Association in Detroit that the percentage of Subarus sold with all-wheel drive went from 50% in 1993 to a current 92%.
