Subway starts review

Subway Restaurants, Milford, Conn., is putting its $85 million ad account into review. Incumbent Hal Riney & Partners Heartland, Chicago, is expected to participate; other contenders haven't been determined. The chain's franchisee advertising board, which manages advertising, will select an agency by October. A Subway spokeswoman said the chain has added 5,000 outlets since Riney took on the account four years ago and wants to make sure it still has the best agency it can get.
