AT&T's Internet hosting services are opening a more direct way to reach [email protected]'s cable Internet service customers. Companies that create Internet content such as news, video and audio services and images can use AT&T's high-speed Internet services to carry their products to Web consumers. The agreement, announced Feb. 14, allows these AT&T customers to serve content directly to [email protected]'s subscribers by establishing a direct link to the cable ISP's network. AT&T owns a 38% stake in [email protected] and a 70% voting interest in the company.
