Talk City signs co-marketing agreement with Hearst, Cox, NBC

Online chat and community site Talk City signed multiyear marketing agreements with NBC, Hearst Corp. and Cox Interactive Media. The online community will co-market and sell Talk City-branded chat and bulletin board areas on the Hearst HomeArts Network, and Cox Interactive sites. The media partners are also open to use Talk City's home page building services.

Talk City also raised $34 million in financing from the major partners as well as investors that include Intel Corp., CSK Japan and Media Technology Ventures.
