Tatham wins $18 million Alberto-Culver business

Euro RSCG Tatham, Chicago, inherited the $18 million Alberto-Culver Co. account from the bankrupt Lois/EJL, Chicago, said to an executive close to the review. The business includes Tresemme haircare products as well as Mrs. Dash low-sodium seasoning and FDS feminine deodorant. Tresemme is the only brand that Melrose Park, Ill.-based Alberto-Culver has supported recently. Tatham won the account because of its work for Procter & Gamble Co., a 40-year, $90 million client that it lost earlier this year when P&G consolidated its advertising. Tatham couldn't be reached for comment at deadline. Lois recently closed its Chicago and New York offices shortly before it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New York.
