TDI drives convertible bus

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Cypress, Calif., and TDI on Thursday will unveil an oversize red Eclipse Spyder convertible, actually one of 12 city buses in six cities that will be wrapped to look like giant sports cars. The buses will operate in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Dallas and San Francisco for the next three months. Mitsubishi is the first car marketer to do a national wrapped-bus promotion.
