teams with Motorola for promotion

Youth entertainment site will give away 50,000 Motorola pagers to new site registrants through its "On the Go Promotion,'' being launched in September. Thirsty is using the promotion to show off its wireless capabilities, developed by wireless technology provider Nexgenix. Thirsty, which aims at consumers ages 13 to 22, was launched in July with 13 channels, including Comics/Sci-Fi, Coffeehouse, Indie/Punk and Hip Hop.
