Time Warner, CMP link on the Web

Time Warner on Thursday opened Digital Pulse, a new technology area of its Pathfinder World Wide Web service. The site combines new-media content from People, Entertainment Weekly and Time with a range of information from CMP Publications' TechWeb online service. CMP will provide daily technology updates from Interactive Age and Information Week, reviews of children's software from HomePC and Web critiques from NetGuide. Hypertext links will connect users between Pathfinder and TechWeb.

Royal Crown Cola Co., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is painting New York City red--and white and blue. The colors and RC Cola logo will be painted on two walls outside the Lincoln Tunnel tomorrow and all over the rest of the metropolitan area this month as part of a new campaign from GSD&M, Austin, Texas. The account, estimated at $15 million, is part of a reintroduction of the brand in the market. RC will spend $2 million on the effort; outdoor boards, kiosks, city panels and bus posters will follow.
