Triarc Co.'s Triarc Beverage Group, White Plains, N.Y., is rolling out a new Snapple juice line called Snapple Farms; new Diet Rite flavors, a carafe-style bottle for several Mistic flavors; and the first new packaging for its RC Cola line in many years. The company is also on track for its acquisition next month of Cable Car Beverage Corp., Denver, marketer of Stewart's root beer and other premium soft drinks, said Michael Weinstein, CEO of Triarc Beverage Group. Snapple Farms will be launched next month with five flavors in 12-oz. cans and bottles, including orange, pink grapefruit and peach. Deutsch, New York, handles the account. Spending for RC Cola for next year will be increased, Mr. Weinstein said, although the level has not yet been determined. The cola's new packaging may be supported with the brand's first national advertising in recent years, he said.
