TVB forecasts '99 ad growth

Television Bureau of Advertising, New York, predicted advertiser spending on cable TV next year will climb 12% to 14% over 1998 levels, the fastest growth rate for any TV category. In other categories, TVB forecast a 5% to 7% ad spending increase for national syndication in 1999; a 3% to 5% gain for local TV and a 2% to 4% rise for both local and network TV.
