The new team reports to Mark Coleman, who joined TWA this summer as senior VP-marketing (AA, July 11).
The goal is to strengthen ties with current travel agency customers and build new sales relationships, Mr. Coleman said.
Joe Vilmain, who assumes some duties of Mr. Schields, becomes VP-sales from the same title for the central region. He's responsible for TWA's overall sales program. Rick Rowe continues as staff VP-reservations.
David Richard, sales and marketing director for the international region, takes the new post of regional VP-managing director of international sales and marketing. He joined TWA earlier this year from British Airways.
Nicolette Carrante-Vaughan, travel agency and automation marketing director, becomes staff VP-business marketing. She succeeds Evelyne Gaidot, who left. Maureen Manget, manager of passenger sales, New Orleans, succeeds Ms. Carrante-Vaughan as director of travel agency marketing.
