Universo Online, Kellogg in joint promotion in Brazil

SAO PAULO--Portal and access provider Universo Online and Kellogg Co. have joined forces on a promotion to distribute inside Kellogg's Corn Flakes cereal packages a CD-ROM offering 50 free hours of Internet access. The CD-ROM will contain food-related health tips, such as how to avoid high cholesterol levels. It also includes an entire list of special fitness, entertainment and gastronomic Web sites.

Since its entry into the Brazilian market in 1961, Kellogg has garnered 50% of the cereal market. Brands include Corn Flakes, Sucrilhos,Sucrilhos Chocolate, Sucrilhos Banana, All-Bran, Choco Krispis, Muslix, Muslix Chocolate, Granola, Granola Amendoas e Canela and Froot Loops.
