Abused children often feel 'a little bit lost or disconnected with reality,' explains art director Kim McNeel of a poster campaign for Texas nonprofit group Parents Anonymous, which employs otherworldly photo-illustrations from Matt Mahurin. 'I wanted something to hit you hard,' McNeel says of the campaign from GSD&M, Austin. 'But at the same time I wanted to make these people know that we know where they're coming from.'
