ValueClick attaches advertising to NTT DoCoMo's wireless network

ValueClick, an Internet advertising company, introduced its performance-based text advertising network to wireless i-Mode compatible cellular phones in Japan via its Japanese subsidiary, ValueClick Japan. A full launch of the network, to be known as MobileClick, is slated for Oct. 1. I-Mode technology is used by NTT Mobile Communications (NTT DoCoMo), which has approximately 10 million subscribers in Japan.
