VW goes on the Internet

Volkswagen, Auburn Hills, Mich., built a home page on the World Wide Web and plans to team with CompuServe to distribute new software, a customized version of Mosaic, to lure users to the Volkswagen home page. It plans to send the diskettes free of charge next week to 500,000 CompuServe users in the U.S. and Canada and also include them in 1996 models. Arnold Fortuna Lawner & Cabot, Boston, created the site, which can be accessed at http://www.vw.com.
