Washington Post appoints VP-advertising for its digital division

The Washington Post named Liddy Manson VP-advertising and development, of Digital Ink Co., The Washington Post Co.'s digital media and electronic information subsidiary. Ms. Manson, who was formerly a VP-special projects for Discovery Channel Multimedia, will oversee strategy and product development for advertising sales, as well as developing content partnerships for Digital Ink and their site, the Post's World Wide Web site.
