Wendy's sets kids' meal plans

Wendy's International will round out this year's kids meal efforts with promotions tied to characters from two animated TV shows, "Dexter's Laboratory" and "Pinky & the Brain," marketed by Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The shows are on The WB! TV network. The "Dexter" promo runs Oct. 20-Nov. 23, while the "Pinky" push runs Nov. 23-Jan. 3. In each case, Wendy's will offer six premium toys in kids meals and support with in-store POP and local media. The deal represents the first major promo for "Dexter," and the first promo ever utilizing a cartoon developed for The Cartoon Network. Wendy's promotions agency is Impact Communications Group, Chicago.
