WSJ adds to media beat

The Wall Street Journal has added Bruce Knecht, a former banking indsutry reporter for the paper, as a second publishing reporter in its marketing and media section. Patrick Reilly will now have wider responsibilities covering marketing and will contribute regularly to the advertising column, where he has been appearing more frequently. Mike Miller, deputy marketing and media editor, said the changes were made this week and that Mr. Reilly could be contributing at least one column per week. Sally Goll Beatty will remain the lead ad columnist.
