Yahoo! users spend more money

A study from Cambridge, Mass.-based Viaweb says traffic from search engines to commerce sites generated an average of 17 cents in online sales per visitor. The study, which tracked tracked one million visitors from more than 132 sites over four months, found that Yahoo's average visitor spent 31 cents, while Webcrawler's spent 10 cents.
