ZD is not just for nerds anymore

Ziff-Davis Publishing Co. next week opens AdTalk, a site about the ad biz created to attract interest (and dollars) from non-tech advertisers. The Webzine will offer ad news, gossip, agency execs' picks for favorite campaigns, links to related sites--and rate and circ info on ZD magazines. The promotional site, designed by Andrew P. Plesser Associates, New York, is the idea of ex-Esquire Publishing Director Lawrence Burstein, who joined ZD as senior VP-consumer advertising last July with the mandate to attract car, liquor, fashion and other ads outside the computer category.
