Heidi Manheimer to exec VP-general manager of the prestige cosmetics division, a new postion at Shiseido Cosmetics (America), New York, from VP-general manager,

Glen Jacobs to senior partner, executive creative director, Bozell Kamstra, New York, from senior partner, worldwide creative director, Ogilvy & Mather. He succeeds Ron Anderson, who is retiring at yearend as vice chairman-executive creative director.

Sherrill Mane to senior VP, CNN Marketing Services, New York, from VP.

Mike Faems, 51, to exec VP-executive creative director, operations, a new position at Burrell Communications Group, Chicago, from a consultant.

Frank Maguire adds responsibility for marketing to his position as VP-sales, Volkswagen of America, Auburn Hills, Mich. He assumes duties from David Huyett, who is retiring as senior executive-marketing.

Michael Riley to VP-marketing, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Culver City, Calif., a vacant position, from director of marketing, licensed and character brands, Mattel. Also: Paige Brown to director of marketing, from director of theatrical marketing. She succeeds Adam Lansbard, who left the company.

Boisfeuillet "Bo" Jones, 53, to publisher, The Washington Post, Washington, from associate publisher. He succeeds Donald Graham, 55, chairman of parent Washington Post Co., who now will focus on day-to-day management.M


Harry Paster, a longtime executive at the American Association of Advertising Agencies, died Sept. 26 in New York after battling cancer; he was 74. Mr. Paster joined the Four A's in 1948 and from 1980-95 served as exec VP. He retired from the Four A's in 1995, and began a consulting business.
