Gene Duckwall, a West Coast executive with Foote, Cone & Belding and the American Association of Advertising Agencies for nearly 40 years, died Feb. 19 in San Gabriel, Calif. He was 93. Mr. Duckwall worked at Lord & Thomas and its successor, Foote Cone, for 31 years, leaving in June 1965 as VP-director of research and media to spend eight years as VP of the Four A's western region (AA, June 14, 1965).
