Court TV Promotes Marc Juris to Exec VP

Turner Broadcasting's Court TV boosted Marc Juris to exec VP-general manager, the channel's top executive position. Mr. Juris, who was previously general manager, will oversee operations and strategic planning as the net rebrands itself TruTV at the beginning of next year.

Southfield, Mich.-based Doner brought on Greg Clausen as exec VP-chief media officer. He was most recently exec VP-managing director at Spark Communications, Chicago.

Candace Graham was promoted to exec VP-account/digital director, Campbell-Ewald, Detroit, with responsibility for the Alltel account team and digital staff.

Christian Wright was elevated to chief technology officer at database-marketing shop Merkle, Lanham, Md. He previously served as VP-product development. The agency also promoted Barry Smith, formerly VP-information technology, to chief information officer.

Fallon, Minneapolis, announced three executive promotions: John King was elevated to director of brand innovation, Amy Sheil became director of media and Adam Chorney is now director of connection planning.

Tara Averill, formerly VP-sales at Anonymous Content, joined Epoch Films, New York, as executive director of sales and media.
