Mark Smith Named VP-Creative Director of LaunchForce

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Mark Smith has joined insight and innovation agency LaunchForce in the newly created position of VP-creative director. Mr. Smith was formerly VP-creative director at WonderGroup, CoActive Marketing Group and other agencies.
Howard Sherman, who joined Omnicom Group business-communications agency Doremus in 2004 as managing director, New York, will add the title of president, a global role.
Y&R, Chicago, has appointed Executive Creative Director Ken Erke its chief creative officer.
Euro RSCG Discovery, the global data-analytics and customer-relationship-marketing unit at Euro RSCG Worldwide, has named Alex Bombeck president. Mr. Bombeck was most recently president-digital, North America, for Euro RSCG 4D, the digital-marketing-services brand of Euro RSCG Worldwide.
Michael Schick has joined public-relations firm Adfero Group as partner. Mr. Schick was senior VP at Porter Novelli.
Channel M, a digital out-of-home video company, has appointed Peter Lee its chief technology officer and chief strategy officer. Mr. Lee was most recently VP-business development new technology at Walt Disney Co. in the corporate strategy, planning and technology group.
Lara Chait has joined Omnicom Group's Kaleidoscope Youth Marketing Solutions as senior VP-client services. Ms. Chait was executive director-marketing at Sports Illustrated for Kids.
David Justus has been named VP-digital media for WNBC. Mr. Justus joins WNBC from the College Board, where he most recently was general manager for the company's SAT-preparation products.
