MedHelp Names Richy Glassberg Chief Operating Officer

Richy Glassberg has joined MedHelp as chief operating officer. In this role, Mr. Glassberg will oversee the online health community's ad sales and marketing teams, as well as build partnerships with pharmaceutical, health-care and consumer-packaged-goods companies and advertising agencies. Prior to joining MedHelp, he served as exec VP-ad sales for TV Guide media ad-sales group. Before that, he was senior VP-ad sales for News Corp.'s Speed Channel. In 1999, Mr. Glassberg founded and served as CEO of Phase2Media, the first online sales and marketing firm dedicated to exclusive representation for branded sites, where he served clients ranging from Hachette Filipacchi Media to He was the first head of ad sales for,, and International, and is also co-founder of the Internet Advertising Bureau.

Beverage company O.N.E (One Natural Experience) has tapped Steve Coston as president and Steve Vasquez as VP-sales. Additionally, Tommy Mottola, former chairman of Sony Music, has joined O.N.E.'s board of directors. Mr. Coston began his career in the beverage industry at Pepsi, where he was a VP-general manager for 14 years. He left Pepsi to join the Miller Brewing Co. as general manager for the Pacific Market area. Mr. Vasquez comes to the position with extensive executive experience at Glaceau, Coca-Cola and Nestle Waters.

DraftFCB, Chicago, has elevated Senior VP-Group Management Director Dawn Baskin to lead the agency's business-development efforts. Prior to joining Draft two years ago, Ms. Baskin was exec VP-chief marketing officer of Zipatoni. She began her career in New York at Lowe Advertising and MTV Networks before relocating to Chicago in 1995. Since then, Ms. Baskin has helped develop global brands including Visa, Frito-Lay, eBay and Motorola, specializing in strategic partnerships with MTV, NFL, Olympics and Disney. Additionally, DraftFCB, Chicago announced that Jennifer Neumann and Christine Lindquist have been elevated to co-lead the agency's health-care practice.

Digitas' brand content unit The Third Act has hired Paul Kontonis, Eric Korsh and Teal Newland as VPs-group directors, content strategy and development. Mr. Kontonis was previously senior VP-branded entertainment of Matter, an Edelman entertainment and sports-marketing company. Additionally, he co-founded For Your Imagination (2007), a web video studio that developed, produced and promoted original web series. Mr. Korsh joins The Third Act after working as chief operating officer of Scout Productions, general manager/executive producer of Emmy-winning series "Sox Appeal," and producing commercial and web content across the U.S. Ms. Newland was formerly commercial director for 60Frames Entertainment, an independent content studio developing original programming for brand integration and digital distribution, where she worked with a portfolio of content creators including Joel & Ethan Coen, John and Scott Burns. Before joining 60Frames, she spent six years with Microsoft in global sales management across the company's European and U.S. offices. Her last role, based in London, was head of multinational sales.

Modernista has promoted Matt Howell to president. Mr. Howell has worked on brands from Sony to Prada to Nike and Ericsson. He arrived at Modernista as chief interactive officer, where his first act was to dissolve the interactive-practice group, integrating interactive thinking into the core of the agency's offering. He had previously been a group director at R/GA. has appointed Jason Shulman as VP-sales. Most recently, he served as the chief revenue officer at [x+1], where he increased revenue by six times in four years and added new clients including JPMorgan Chase, Allstate, Verizon and FedEx. Prior to [x+1], Mr. Shulman was an exec VP at Carat. During his tenure, the company experienced double-digit growth and added clients such as Motorola, AOL, Wachovia, Western Union and Kodak.

Ron Greenberg has joined Avid as senior VP-marketing. Mr. Greenberg has more than 25 years of global marketing experience, most recently as the chief marketing officer and senior VP-digital media for TouchTunes Interactive Networks. While at TouchTunes, he helped establish an integrated web presence, a new consumer mobile app and loyalty program, integrated marketing and PR programs, and partnerships with all of the major music labels and companies such as U.S. Air Guitar, Rock the Vote and Musicians on Call. Prior to TouchTunes, Mr. Greenberg held a variety of leadership roles at companies including Microsoft, where he was general manager of enterprise and partner marketing; and IBM, where he held a variety of roles including responsibility for global industries marketing, as well as VP-marketing for IBM Asia Pacific, based in Tokyo.
