Ogilvy & Mather Names Paul Heath Worldwide Director

Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has promoted Paul Heath to worldwide director, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. He takes on the newly created position in addition to his primary role as CEO Asia Pacific, and will remain based in Hong Kong. Mr. Heath will assemble a global executive committee consisting of the regional heads of advertising from Asia Pacific (David Mayo), London (Hugh Baillie), New York (Simon Pearce) and Brazil (Fernando Musa).

Digital-media platform Traffiq has appointed Nick Pahade CEO, effective July 1. Mr. Pahade was most recently president of TrueAction, a full-service digital agency. He also led global digital development for Publicis Groupe Media role as president of Denuo, Publicis Groupe's futures practice, and co-founded Beyond Interactive Inc., which he led for over a decade.

Doner has promoted Jennifer Deutsch from senior VP-general manager to exec VP-general manager of its Cleveland office. Throughout her time with the agency, she has led new business efforts that helped add accounts including Things Remembered, University Hospitals, Agri-Fab, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and most recently, OhioHealth. Prior to joining Doner in 2006, Ms. Deutsch established and was president of Brand Insights, a marketing consulting firm with clients in the travel, hospitality, consumer goods, and retail categories. Additionally, Doner has elevated Larry Deangelis to senior VP-brand leader from VP-brand leader. Since joining the agency in 1998, Mr. Deangelis has worked on a wide range of accounts in categories including home products, travel, automotive and medical.

Faye Walker has been named senior VP-marketing for the Universal Sports Network. Before coming to Universal Sports, she was the head of marketing for MGM's Worldwide Television division. Prior to MGM, Ms. Walker was at The Tennis Channel, where she served as VP-marketing from the time of the channel's inception in 2002 until 2007.

AppNexus has hired Brandon Atkinson as VP-client services, Venky Vemparala as VP-engineering and Lisa Kalscheur as director-marketing. Mr. Atkinson joins the real-time ad platform from Hewlett-Packard, where he was solution director for the business-service automation products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, he launched Opsware's R&D Center in Romania. Mr. Vemparala made his mark on Wall Street as a technology architect at investment houses including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets and Lehman Brothers/Barclays. Ms. Kalscheur comes to AppNexus from AOL Advertising, where she was director-network marketing for Advertising.com and AOL's audience-targeting product suite.

John Colasanti has joined VSA Partners as partner-chief operating officer. He will be charged with strengthening and expanding the branding firm's consumer-facing capability. Mr. Colasanti was previously at Carmichael Lynch from 1994-2009, where he most recently served as CEO-managing partner.

Current Media has appointed John Arianas VP-East Coast sales. Mr. Arianas will be responsible for managing Current's New York ad sales office and a play a vital role in determining its strategy for the annual advertising upfront. Additionally, he will help promote Current's viewer-created ad messages. Mr. Arianas comes to Current Media after 12 years at MTV Networks, where he most recently served as VP-brand sales.
