People on the Move: Robyn Freye Joins Digitaria as VP-Marketing

Digitaria recently announced Robyn Freye as its new vice president of marketing. In her position, she will be responsible for overhauling Digitaria's marketing-communications content and presentation as well as working closely with the agency's PR department. Ms. Freye is the former director of business development for Pereira & O'Dell. She also brings nearly a dozen years of agency experience in marketing, account direction and business development working with a variety of Fortune 500 clients.

Bill Cella has joined the Cheyenne Group as a senior partner. In addition to executive recruitment, Mr. Cella will play an active role in expanding the New York office and the planned London office for 2013. He had played an integral role in expanding Magna Global from startup to global business. He also has gained experience working with ABC (Disney/ABC), McCann Erickson and Coca-Cola.

Zach Friedman has been promoted to VP-digital ad sales for Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. He will lead the digital-sales efforts for both networks and will be responsible for all revenue generation across and as well as Fox News Mobile, Fox Business Mobile and tablet apps. Mr. Friedman began his career as national broadcasting buyer at Summit Media Group in 2003. Before his new role at Fox, he was director of digital ad sales for the West and Midwest regions.

The Relevancy Group welcomes Chris Marriott as VP-services and principal consultant. To add to this new role, Mr. Marriott will also serve on the board of directors for eDataSource as well as the advisory board for the All About Email conferences. A popular iMedia columnist, Mr. Marriott most recently served as VP-agency services for StrongMail and was previously a tenured senior executive at Axciom. He will remain a consultant to a variety of fledgling organizations, including AuthorBee.

Viacom Media Networks has promoted Jeannie Scalzo to senior vice president-music sales and Ellen Dominus to senior vice president-entertainment sales. Ms. Scalzo will be responsible for MTV, MTV2, mtvU, VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia sales efforts. She is a 21-year veteran of Viacom, holding a number of roles in both sales and integrated marketing across MTV and VH1. Ms. Scalzo earlier served as VP of MTV 360 Brand Sales and her most recent role was as senior vice president of integrated marketing for MTV, MTV2 and mtvU. Ms. Dominus will now be responsible for CMT, Comedy Central, SPIKE and TV Land sales efforts. Before this promotion, she was the vice president of music and entertainment ad sales. Also a 21-year veteran of Viacom, she has served as a national broadcast buyer at BBDO.
