Time Inc.'s Southern Progress Corp., which publishes Cooking Light, Southern Living and other lifestyle titles, recently filled several executive posts. Jim Sexton, 49, was named senior VP-editorial director; he most recently was senior VP-interactive brands at Scripps Network. Andrea DiCastro, 37, who previously worked on product design at NextJump, joined SPC Digital as executive producer. And Dane Sorensen, 39, formerly a consultant for SPC Digital, became the division's marketing director.

Leslie Singer was named chief creative officer at G2 Branding & Design, New York. She moves to the WPP Group shop from corporate-communications firm 10/1, where she served as managing director.

Publicis USA, New York, appointed Alexander van Gestel exec VP-group account director. Mr. van Gestel, who will be focusing his efforts on the holding company's Citi account, was most recently global brand director at Euro RSCG Worldwide.

Teen-targeted social network Habbo brought on Jeannine Lewis as advertising sales director for North America. Ms. Lewis was previously senior consumer account executive at Variety.

Jim O'Rourke was appointed media director at independent shop McClain Finlon, Denver. He was formerly group media director at Dallas-based The Richards Group., New York, named Steven Nasi creative director and David Sansone director of information architecture. Mr. Nasi was previously partner and associate creative director at Ogilvy New York, while Mr. Sansone was director-user experience for the Freelancers Union.
