Kate Shevack has been appointed president of Zoombak, developer of GPS pet and vehicle locators. She was most recently senior VP-chief marketing officer of Timex and was one of Ad Age's Women to Watch in 2006.

Euro RSCG Worldwide has named Jose Cabaco its chief creative officer for North America. This is the first big creative hire for CEO Esther Lee, who was tapped to head the agency's North American operation last year. Mr. Cabaco was creative director at Wieden & Kennedy.

Bank of America has named Claire Huang head of marketing for its global wealth- and investment-management division. Ms. Huang was most recently exec VP-marketing and segment management for Fidelity Investments.

Integrated media and marketing firm Vantage Media has added three executives to its management team. Neil Kaplan has joined the company as senior VP-operations; Greg Isaacs has been named VP-incubation; and Sumant Sridharan will be VP-marketing.

Omnicom Group's Javelin Direct has hired former R/GA Account Director Mia McNiece as VP-client services. The strategic integrated marketing agency also has brought on Jim Newell as associate creative director. Mr. Newell spent 13 years at Rapp Collins, where he was VP-group creative director.

Interactive media company Reactrix Systems has appointed Lauren de la Fuente VP-brand solutions and marketing. Ms. de la Fuente was previously VP-strategic programming and marketing solutions for the TV network G4.

Marketing-to-women communications company Frank About Women has hired Gayle Davey as senior VP-associate planning director. Ms. Davey was most recently a partner at research and marketing consultancy Yankelovich.

Proteus, a provider of mobile marketing products and solutions, has appointed Jim Shilale as VP-business development. He joins the company from Velti, a global mobile-marketing-solutions provider, where he was VP-business and product development for North America.
