NEW YORK: Cahners Publishing Co. sponsored the recent Person of the Year award as part of the Literary Market place Awards at the New York Public Library. The award, which went to Oprah Winfrey, was presented by Bruce Barnet, CEO, Cahners; and Katie Couric, co-host of NBC's "Today" show and emcee for the awards.

SOUTH MIAMI BEACH: Men's Health joined with Ford Models/Los Angeles and Paul Mitchell Systems to kick off a search for the next male supermodel.
