Robert Yallen Takes Over as CEO at InterMedia

Robert Yallen has been elevated to CEO at InterMedia Group of Cos. He has served as president-chief operating officer for the past 10 years, and will take over the post from his father, the late Sydney Yallen, the founder of the company, who passed away in February.

Gloria Gibbons, president of Ogilvy Healthworld Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Donna Tuths, president of Ogilvy Healthworld North America, have been appointed joint worldwide CEOs of Ogilvy Healthworld. Ms. Gibbons joined Ogilvy Healthworld in 2004, when she was CEO of Shire Health, which joined with Ogilvy. She co-founded and helped grow Shire Health before it was acquired by WPP in 1999. In 2004, she was named chairman of Ogilvy Healthworld U.K. and in 2006 became president of Ogilvy Healthworld EAME. Ms. Tuths became president of Ogilvy Healthworld North America in October 2007. Before joining the company in November 2003, she was president of Organic, New York, and prior to that was managing director of Y&R Wunderman, New York.

Cynthia Gordon is joining 360 Public Relations as VP-digital and social media. Ms. Gordon previously served as VP-new media and integrated marketing for NBC Universal's resort division. During her tenure with Universal Orlando, she developed the Universal Moms program, which engaged a group of influencer moms to refine the resort's offerings. She was also responsible for online programming such as iVillage Live.

Vida Mylson was promoted to VP-East Coast sales from East Coast sales director for Appssavvy, a direct-sales company for social media. Before joining Appssavvy, Ms. Mylson spent time at Undertone Networks and Newspapers First, managing both interactive and print. She also spent seven years at Time Warner Media.

Fox Searchlight announced that Michelle Hooper and Stephanie Allen have been promoted to exec VP-marketing, and Sheila DeLoach has been elevated to exec VP-distribution. Ms. Hooper previously was VP-entertainment publicity at Fox Broadcasting before joining Fox Searchlight in 2006. Ms. Allen served as director of advertising at TriStar Pictures, where she was later promoted to VP-creative advertising before coming to Fox Searchlight in 2000. Ms. DeLoach was VP-Eastern sales manager for Orion Pictures before joining Fox Searchlight in 1997.

Neil Mortine, president of Fahlgren Mortine Public Relations and a director of Fahlgren Inc., will assume the title of chairman-CEO from Steve Drongowski, who announced that he is stepping down at the end of the year. Mr. Mortine established the firm's PR practice in 1986.

Collective Media added Todd Taplin as chief revenue officer. Mr. Taplin was most recently VP of New England and Canada sales at Yahoo. Before that he climbed the ranks at 24/7 Real Media, joining as executive director-New England sales in 1998 and becoming VP-sales three years later.
