Scott Neslund Named CEO of Red Bricks Media

Scott Neslund was appointed CEO of independent agency Red Bricks Media. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Neslund was with WPP Group's Mindshare North America, mostly recently as CEO (New York) since 2007, and prior to that, as managing director of Mindshare (Chicago). Before coming to Mindshare, he was president of Starcom MediaVest Group's StarLink, Chicago, from 2003 to 2005. In 2008, Mr. Neslund was named an Ad Age Media Maven, and Mindshare was named to the Ad Age Agency A-List.

Kurt Abrahamson has been named CEO of Mr. Abrahamson comes to the company from Google, where he first served as director of the content media group, leading the global launch of Google AdSense. He also served as director-global sales and operations strategy and as director-sales operations for North America. Prior to working at Google, Mr. Abrahamson was chief operating officer of Jupiter Communications and president of Jupiter Media Metrix from 1994 to 2003.

Edelman has named Mark Hass president of Edelman China. Mr. Hass, the former CEO of MS&L Worldwide, brings three decades of experience as a journalist, entrepreneur and communications professional, and was most recently founding partner and CEO of MH Group Communications. MH, which specializes in corporate communications and social media, is being merged into Edelman's digital practice. Mr. Hass joined MS&L in 2002 when it acquired his firm, Hass Associates, and became CEO in 2005.

Scripps Networks has tapped Greg Regis as senior VP-advertising sales for Travel Channel. Mr. Regis was most recently VP-ad sales for Food Network, Eastern region. Before joining Scripps Networks, he worked as VP-programming for Wink Communications, an interactive TV company, as well as senior VP-national advertising sales and sponsorships for NBC Interactive.

Josh Glantz has joined Publishers Clearing House as VP-general manager of PCH Online. He makes the move from online shopping community Ideeli, where he served as general manager-advertising and integrated sponsorships. Before Ideeli, Mr. Glantz spent seven years as senior VP and managing director at ePrize, a major supplier of interactive promotions and online loyalty programs.

Porter Novelli announced the addition of four senior hires: Jennifer A. Jones, Jodi Fleisig, Judy Willis and Joel R. Johnson have all joined the company as senior VPs. Prior to joining Porter Novelli as senior VP-digital and social media, Jennifer A. Jones spent time at agencies including Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Alexander Communications and Fletcher Martin. She is also the author of the upcoming book, "Can Your Brand Come Out & Play (The Power of Social Media)" and is founder of Jodi Fleisig, named senior VP-media strategy & relations, was most recently a senior executive producer and supervisor at CNN. New Senior VP-Consumer Practice Judy Willis was previously CMO of Merge Agency, where she developed a "CMO for hire" practice for the firm. Joel R. Johnson, now senior VP-strategic planning and research, comes to Porter from Sapient/Nitro, where he led integrated digital campaigns and strategic development for such brands as Citi, Unilever, MetLife and Merck.
