Tim Love to Oversee Agency's Relationship With Nissan

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Omnicom Group's TBWA Worldwide today a president for its Global Clients unit, a new position.

Tim Love, 54, will oversee TBWA's relationship with its largest global client, Nissan, and will serve as co-chairman of G1 Worldwide, a joint venture between TBWA and Japanese ad agency Hakuhodo formed in 1999 to service the automaker. Mr. Love will be based in Toyoko.

He will report to Jean-Marie Dru, president-CEO of TBWA Worldwide, and will be part of a new executive committee along with Mr. Dru; Lee Clow, chairman and chief creative officer; Paul Bainsfair, president of the agency's European operations; Tom Carroll, president of the Americas; and Keith Smith, president of the Asia Pacific region; and Jonathan Ramsden, chief financial officer.

Mr. Love was vice chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi's international operations and a member of the Publicis Groupe agency's worldwide executive board. He had managed the relationship with the company's largest global account, that of Procter & Gamble Co.

Before joining Saatchi in 1999, Mr. Love spent 10 years with DMB&B, where he was a member of the worldwide board of directors and oversaw the global Pillsbury and P&G accounts.
