Change in Management at ABC, Fox and AMC

NEW YORK ( -- Top cable ad sales executives have recently played a form of musical chairs.

Rainbow Advertising Sales Corp., which includes AMC, WE and Bravo, has tapped Arlene Manos to be president of national network sales. Ms. Manos was senior vice president of national ad sales at A&E Television Networks.

Meanwhile, Laura Nathanson has shifted from Walt Disney Co.'s ABC Network to head up the ad sales division for the new consolidated team of the ABC Family network and the Disney Kids Network Sales Group. Barbara Bekkedahl, who will head up national sales, will report to Ms. Nathanson.

Bruce Lefkowitz has moved from Discovery Communications, where he was senior vice president of national ad sales, to News Corp.'s Fox Cable Networks, where he'll serve as executive vice president of ad sales for networks such as FX.

Finally, Ronald Schneier, who as executive vice president of sales and marketing at A&E Television worked with Ms. Manos, announced he will leave his post effective March 31. Whitney Goit, executive vice president of A&E Televison Networks, will take over for Mr. Schneier, a process that has already begun.
