People on the Move: W20 Group Names Mike Hartman as Chief Creative Officer
Mike Hartman has joinged the W20 Group as the chief creative officer. He will be responsible for leading content and user experience for its health care, technology, and consumer clients now and in the future. Previously, Mr. Hartman served as the executive creative director for LBI. Prior to that, he led the digital creative for WPP's Chemistry cross-agency team that served for Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Hartman's work has been honored in various awards shows including Addys and Webbys.
Shelby Huston Haro has joined GetGlue as the executive VP-sales. She will be in charge of building and managing GetGlue's sales organizations. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with global brands and studio marketing executives. Ms. Haro joins the company from Penske Media Corporation where she was the vice president of entertainment sales and product strategy. Previously, she was the first sales hire and head of entertainment, sales at Fandango.
Tyler Fonda has been named director of brand strategy for Percolate. In his new role, he will be building a team of brand strategists singularly focused on empowering community managers with the tools and content to build vibrant communities around their brands. For the last two and a half years, Mr. Fonda was the strategy director at the advertising agency Gotham where he led brand strategy for Denny's and Citi.
Gyro NY has hired Auro Trini Castelli as the head of strategy and Lauren Glazer as the client services director. Mr. Castelli joins the global ideas shop with 15 years of advertising experience. Prior to this role, he was the senior VP-global strategy director at DraftFCB in New York for Oreo. Before that he worked in Europe and Italy, leading the strategic departments of FCB, DDB, red Cell, and the Audi Agency network. Ms. Glazer was previously the senior VP-account director at BBDO. Prior to that, she spent six years at Wieden & Kennedy. She brings a long, solid history of working with the world's top brands.
Hearst Newspapers named Mike DeLuca as the new senior VP-digital. He last served as the chief revenue officer at Savored, which was later acquired by Groupon in 2012. Mr. DeLuca also served as the VP of sales for Groupon as well as the senior VP of sales and operations for AOL Local. Previously, he was the VP-sales and account management at Yahoo. He has a bachelor's degree from Boston College.
Rosetta has named Scott Sorokin as the new chief strategy officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Sorokin will drive Rosetta's growth strategy and will be based in the agency's New York office. He brings more than 25 years of experience as strategist, advisor and futurist for Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Rosetta, he held positions as the chief digital officer at Mindshare Worldwide and the founder and chief creative officer at Grey Interactive Worldwide. Before the digital age, Mr. Sorokin was an award-winning creative director.
