Devon Direct, Berwyn, Pa., will be acquired by Euro RSCG Worldwide, New York. Devon, with billings of $290 million, will be Euro RSCG's largest direct marketing agency in North America. The shop will join Euro RSCG's Cohn & Wells, San Francisco, under the Sales Machine umbrella brand. The Sales Machine coordinates consulting, direct marketing, sales promotion, event marketing, sales force motivation and database marketing services from various Euro RSCG agencies. Devon founder Ron Greene will continue as president-CEO of the agency.

Omnicom Group, New York, through its Diversified Agency Services unit, will acquire M/A/R/C, Irving, Texas, an integrated marketing services company. M/A/R/C operates in two core businesses, brand marketing research and customer relationship management.

Bass Hotels & Resorts will step up efforts to introduce potential customers to its Priority Club and to reward its current frequent-stay members. Under the direction of Draft Worldwide, Chicago, the company has introduced a new loyalty kit, redesigned hotel materials and is running a print campaign for its Priority Club Worldwide. The loyalty kits, which include newsletters and club award guides, began mailing Oct. 1 to Priority Club members who have stayed eight nights at any of the Bass properties. Three print ads describe member rewards and list an 800-number for enrollment, and will appear in October issues of magazines such as Money and PC Computing. Bass has more than 2,700 hotels worldwide, and is parent to chains of hotels and resorts under five brands,
