The day Derrick Rose, the star of the Chicago Bulls, tore his ACL and ended his season, the
world stopped for the city. Adidas tapped into this pivotal moment beautifully for "Wake Up," out
of 180 Los Angeles, a campaign and documentary film that was one of the high points of
Imperial Woodpecker's 2012.
Wall was also charged with the difficult task of reintroducing the Lincoln brand to the world. Along
with specially created agency Hudson Rouge, he worked on the flagship commercial for that
relaunch, a nicely filmed series of shots that combined images of Abraham Lincoln with a look at
how the cars are designed and assembled.
Director Simon McQuoid also gave us another nice piece of work with "The All-Star" for Playstation,
which combined all the stars of the Playstation world and got them to duke it out -- like you could
in the game itself.
