Bullitt, Prettybird, Ataboy Add Directors, New Talent
Bullitt is welcoming Director Mike "Mouse" McCoy to its roster. McCoy also founded Bandito Brothers, a studio and production outfit.
McCoy was a professional motorcycle racer and stunt man before he became a film director and producer. He produced and appeared in "Dust to Glory," about a motorcycle race, and was co-director and producer of the military action film "Act of Valor" in 2012.
Prettybird has signed Jonathan Desbiens, a.k.a. Jodeb, for global representation. He has created videos for Skrillex, Imagine Dragons, Swedish House Mafia, the Weeknd, Cypress Hill, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Deftones, Tinashe, Halsey and A$AP Rocky; and Point Point's "Life in Grey" as well as the 21-minute "Still in the Cage" promo for Skrillex.
Ataboy has added Directors Nicolas Heller and Corydon Wagner to its roster.
"Rolling Stone" commissioned Heller to work on a series of six documentaries on street culture. His short form work includes a new campaign of Snapchat ads for Foursquare/Swarm Shyp.
Director X, formerly known as Little X, has signed to mssng peces. He has directed work for Drake, Rihanna, Jay Z, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Usher, John Mayer, Korn, Fifth Harmony, Kendrick Lamar and more. His work includes"Hotline Bling" and "Work From Home." He recently worked with the city of Toronto, alongside filmmaker Floria Sigismondi, on the "Death of the Sun" for Nuit Blanche.
Framestore Pictures has signed Directors Anh Vu and Marcus Ubungen.
Vu started as a designer at Psyop, and she has worked on projects for brands like Aetna, GE, Volkswagen, JBL, Samsonite, Stand Up To Cancer, Michelin and Silk; as well as the "Never to Forget" film.
Ubungen has worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. He's directed work for Chevrolet, Motorola, Adobe, Google, and Specialized Bikes, Gatorade, Samsung, Toyota, and Porsche; as well as a short film called"'Halloween Meets Gasoline" and "Beyond the Fields."
@LArge Productions & Post has partnered with Matthew Rolston to launch [email protected], dedicated to the development and production of beauty, fashion and lifestyle projects. The director, creative and executive producer will work alongside Managing Director Tracy Mays, along with Beth Aranda in charge of production and Ashley Hydrick heading post production.
Framestore's latest adition to its Design Studio is Stephen Goalby. He has also signed with Framestore as a design director. His portfolio spans directorial work, 2D and 3D animation, digital out-of-home and live action.
Tim Roper, a 20-year agency veteran at CP&B and a former roster director at Partizan Entertainment, has launched F. Yeah & Associates, an independent creative development-production hybrid. In his career, he has worked on Volkswagen, Hulu, Method, Burger King, Sprite, Microsoft and Truth.
Joining Roper is Executive Producer Lisa Effress, formerly of CP&B, TBWA Chiat Day and Peterson Milla Hooks. Her brand work includes Gatorade, Gap, Visa, Target, Windows Phone, Climate Reality Project, and Intel.
F. Yeah & Associates will operate out of offices in Boulder, Colorado, and Santa Monica, California.
