Director Nick Spooner has joined The Sweet Shop for commercial representation. A writer, producer, cartoonist and animator, the East Coast-based director has worked on campaigns for clients such as AT&T, Ford, Ikea, Tide and Volkswagen. Earlier in his career, he worked at Comedy Central, where he wrote, produced and directed campaigns for the brand. He has won awards at Cannes, The One Show, London International Awards and the Jay Chiat Awards.

VFX studio MassMarket Media has formed a film and TV division after inviting the creative team of Look Effects to join the company. Look Effects, which has offices in Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver, is closing and LookFX partners Henrik Fett and Mark Driscoll (pictured) will become co-managing directors of Mass Market's TV/feature division. Existing projects underway at Look Effects will be completed by MassMarket.
Director Tomas Jonsgarden has joined Reset for U.S. representation. The award-winning director has shot spots for Mercedes, Volvo, Toyota, Sony Ericsson, Visa, MTV, Lenovo and others. In 2007 he was voted "Most Successful Commercial Director" by Swedish and Finnish agencies via a survey from Scandinavian ad pub Dagens Media. Mr. Jonsgarden became a director in 2001, after working as a still photographer, trained under fashion photographer Mattias Edwall. He is repped out of Knucklehead in the U.K. and Bacon in Scandinavia.
ModOp Films has signed director & still photographer Scott Toepfer to its roster, with his first work a broadcast, theatrical and digital/social campaign for Just For Men. Toepfer's work has included stills and live-action film for brands including Adidas, Chevrolet, Dodge, Iron & Resin, Sapporo, Discovery Channel, Allstate and Harley Davidson.
Framestore has appointed Dasha Legge as senior design producer in London. Legge began her career at Framestore, first as a runner and then as a 2D Artist on projects such as "Casino Royale," Channel 4's "Nathan Barley" and the promo for The Chemical Brothers' "I Believe," before starting her own company. She set up the London office of Creative Action Digital in 2012 and returned to Framestore in early 2014 as cover before making the move permanent in the summer.
