Alternative Media Company Adds Ticket Advertising To Its Capabilities

Brite Media Group announced today that it has acquired Dallas-based AdverTickets.

AdverTickets becomes the third alternative-media company in the expansion of Brite Media Group, which already includes coffee-sleeve advertiser BriteVision and a division that operates the largest gas station pump top and indoor advertising networks.

AdverTickets, which launched in 2000, produces full-color advertisements on valet- and machine-issued parking tickets. The advertising agency also offers other hand-to-hand media products that reach air travelers, bus commuters, hotel guests and check cashing customers.

"Brite Media Group is pleased to announce that AdverTickets has joined its network of alternative media companies," said Greg Martin, VP-sales, Brite Media Group, in a statement. "Brite Media Group seeks to provide advertisers with a unique mix of specialized and effective media products--and savvy distribution networks reaching consumers during their daily routines."

Brite Media Group is an alternative media company that is backed by Trimaran Capital Partners, a New York private equity firm.
