Home & Garden Television Network this month launched its fourth annual "Dream Home Giveaway" sweepstakes, this time with the grand prize of a fully furnished, custom-built home overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Manzanita, Ore. Sponsors of the sweepstakes, which drew 4.3 million entries last year, include Sears, Roebuck & Co., which will stock the home with Kenmore Elite appliances, a Craftsman workshop, home fashions, lawn and garden equipment, and home electronics. Sears will give five regional sweepstakes winners a $5,000 Sears gift card. The grand prize winner also gets a GMC Yukon sport-utility vehicle from General Motors Corp. Additional sponsors include AT&T Corp., Aristokraft, Coastal Living, Furniture Brands International, Hunter Douglas and New York Life Insurance Co. The sweepstakes runs Feb. 1 through March 3. It's being promoted via a 1-hour special airing Feb. 8 on HGTV, in general TV spots on the network and also in Sears stores. Consumers can enter online via hgtv.com and sears.com. HGTV handled the promotion in-house.

The deal is the largest sports sponsorship in the company's history.
