Discovery Communications has become PHD's second biggest piece of business over the past year or so. More than 60 people work on it, handling all facets of the cable network's media strategy.

Credit that to Jen Neal, managing director in charge of the Discovery account. Since joining PHD from Omnicom sibling Arnell Group, Ms. Neal, 33, has helped turn the accout into one that's representative of how PHD wants to serve marketers.

"That account was only in OK shape," says Matt Seiler, U.S. president of PHD. "She's building a case study for our client business." Ms. Neal attributes her success to the model Mr. Seiler has put in place encouraging innovation. "We're not just looking at media; we're trying to help them grow their business," she says.
